Rooted in God's Love

I pray that God will work in me, helping me want to obey him, and then helping me do what he wants. And in everything I do, I will stay away from complaining and arguing so that no one can speak a word of blame against me; that I will live a clean, innocent life as a child of God in a dark world full of people who are crooked and stubborn; that I Shine out among them like a beacon light, holding out to them the Word of Life. Prayer for Unity & Peace Submitted by: Church Office
As God's chosen, holy and dearly loved, I will clothe myself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. I will bear with others and forgive whatever grievance one may have against me. I will forgive as the Lord forgave me. And overall these virtues I will put on Love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. I will let the Peace of Christ rule in my heart, since, as members of one body, we were called to peace. And I will be Thankful. I will let the word of Christ dwell in me richly as I teach and counsel with others with all Wisdom and I will sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in my heart to God. And whatever I do, whether in word or deed, I will do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:12-17
