BE A LOVING AMBASSADOR
Mike Huckabee was a Southern Baptist pastor, President of the Southern Baptist Convention, the governor of Arkansas, a candidate for President of the U.S., the host of radio and TV programs, an author, musician, the father of Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas, and the ambassador to Israel.
As pastor he accepted Blacks into all-white congregations. As governor he heroically responded to Hurricane Katrina, being touted by Time Magazine as one of America’s five best governors.
Mike continues to exhibit a loving spirit amidst the trials of American and world-wide politics.
The Bible teaches that Christians are ambassadors for Christ. Sunday I’m preaching on “Be a Loving Ambassador” from 2 Corinthians 5:14-21. We’ll look at “Be Controlled by Christ’s Love,” verses 14-16; “Be New,” verse 17; and “Be a Good Ambassador,” verses 18-21. Please exercise your role as ambassador by coming Sunday for Bible Study at 9:00 and worship at 10:30.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER SIGN-UPS
We need help with our Wednesday Night Meals for Spring/Summer 2026. By volunteering for at least one Wednesday night, we can insure no one is doing all the work.

You will shop (the church will pay the bill), preparing a meal for about 70 children and adults, and clean up. Betty Allen will meet with you and help you understand the commitment.
